Wednesday, July 3, 5:30 PM at Lovettsville Community Center. A hometown parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by swimming, music and games at Lovettsville Community Center from 6:30 to 8:30 and fireworks at 9:15.
Thursday, July 4, 10 AM at Goose Creek Friends Meeting in Purcellville. This non-motorized parade runs from Lincoln Elementary school the meeting house where it’s followed by patriotic songs and readings, a pot luck and dessert competition and live music.
Thursday, July 4, 10:30 AM.-3 PM at Claude Moore Park. Celebrate with pony and wagon rides, music, crafts, nature exhibits, tours, carnival games, and a visit from Reptiles Alive. Food will be available for purchase. Admission is $5 for ages 5 and up.

Come to The Marshall Houseimmediately following the Town of Leesburg 4th of July Parade for a reenactment of President Truman’s 1950 4th of July visit! The event continues with a “Celebration in the Park” at Ida Lee with food vendors, set to an upbeat soundtrack of live music. The grand finale will be a wonderful fireworks display over the park!
