Welcome to LIVING LARGE IN LOUDOUN! Growing up in a military family, I traveled all over the world, to places like Guam, Turkey and Japan. I began my career in counseling and social work, and have a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M. I had the privilege of counseling families in the foster care and adoption system. Assisting them in their journey to permanency was truly a rewarding experience.
My husband and I settled in the Lowes Island/Cascades community of Loudoun County in 1999. I immediately fell in love with all that the area has to offer – the friendly suburban communities, the rolling hills, the quaint horse and farm towns, and my favorite, the charming wineries! As a real estate professional, I am thrilled to be able to share my passion for this area and continue to assist families along their journey. The thing I love most about my work is the feeling of satisfaction that comes from helping people realize their dreams and achieve their goals. I build partnerships with my clients that last well beyond the sale because I conduct my business the same way I live my life; with honesty, respect, determination and a healthy dose of fun. I want you to feel comfortable, informed and relaxed.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends visiting the local wineries, checking out new restaurants, traveling to the beach, and watching my daughter horseback ride during our weekly outing to the barn. In my blog, I share all sorts of information about my passions: real estate, community happenings, home and garden information and tips, and of course, what to do and where to go to truly enjoy this beautiful area we live in. While Loudoun County is one of the wealthiest in the nation, you don’t have to be wealthy to enjoy all that it has to offer: together we can discover the adventures of living large on a budget!
